This is Brett Collier's last book. It is a 60 mile linear walk from Lincoln to Stamford.

The guidebook of the new route written by the late Brett Collier is in  book shops price £5.95. Brett devised this new route since it had long been his wish to have an alternative to the southern half of the Viking Way which ends in Lincolnshire (Stamford) rather than outside (Oakham)A brief sketchmap of the route is shown elsewhere on this site.

The guidebook is available for this 96 mile long distance path around the Lincolnshire Wolds The second edition, now on sale,includes the extra section from Donnington on Bain to Market Rasen. Plogsland Round

A 47 mile circular walk around the city of Lincoln with the cathedral in view for much of the route. It links many villages following paths and green lanes across the flat, drained arable land and along the banks of the River Witham. For sketch map see
