The 3rd South Lincolnshire Walking Festival is being held in the Autumn starting on Saturday 23rd September.
Area Secretary of Lincolnshire Ramblers, Stuart Parker, said:
“ Autumn is a good season for getting out into our lovely Lincolnshire countryside before the chills of winter begin. Together with other organisations, we are pleased to support this Festival again, now into its third year. Five of our local Ramblers groups based in Boston, Spalding, Sleaford, Stamford and Lincoln are providing walks for the Festival and all are invited to take part. ”
The area covered by events include the districts of North Kesteven, South Kesteven, Boston Borough and South Holland and has some of the most varied landscapes within our county. A variety of walks are being offered to suit all abilities.
Walks are being held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 23rd September until 29th October.
The Festival is hosting 56 walks this year and the programme of events can be viewed or downloaded at www.southlincswalking.com
