This 25 mile walk, which has been established to celebrate the Silver Jubilee, in 2005, of the Grimsby/Louth group of The Ramblers' Association, links together the two towns using paths regularly walked by the group. The founder members of our group were also members of the Wanderlust Rambling Club and in North East Lincolnshire we make use of some footpaths on the Wanderlust Way. This 20 mile circular walk, was established in memory of James Neville Cole who did so much for the  walkers  in  our  region. The Silver Lines Way goes through the outskirts of Grimsby, then follows footpaths, bridleways and quiet lanes through woodlands and across the rolling Wolds to reach St James' Church, Louth. The walk offers dramatic views across Lincolnshire and towards the Humber Estuary and the North Sea.

THE WOLDS
The Lincolnshire Wolds is a nationally important and cherished landscape. Much of it was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in 1973. Rolling hills, hidden valleys and nestling villages add to the chorm of the area. For more information - www.lincswolds.org.uk
